CeSIS Celebrates 15 Years

Fifteen years ago, the Centre for Social Impact Studies was established with a clear mission to advance accountability, equity, and informed public discourse in Ghana’s extractive and natural resource sectors.

Over the past 15 years, CeSIS has worked alongside communities, civil society organisations, researchers, and public institutions to promote transparency, strengthen evidence based advocacy, and support meaningful citizen participation. Our work spans research, policy engagement, public education, and capacity building, all guided by a simple conviction that development must serve the public good.

This milestone is an opportunity to reflect on the lessons learned, the impact achieved, and the partnerships that have shaped our journey. We acknowledge the trust of communities, the collaboration of partners, and the dedication of current and former staff whose commitment has sustained the organisation.

As we mark 15 years of work, CeSIS reaffirms its responsibility to contribute independent analysis, encourage public accountability, and support policies that promote social and environmental justice.

We look ahead with renewed purpose, committed to deepening our impact and continuing to serve as a credible voice in Ghana’s development discourse.
